The 9xWMI installer is a package that makes it easy to install and configure Windows 9x systems to respond to WMI Interrogations.

Windows 95 and Windows 98 A did not ship with the neccessary components to use WMI, and although Windows 98 Second edition did contain the modules, they were disabled by default.

This zip file Will install the latest version of WMI9x.exe from Microsoft and enable the Winmgmt service to load at system startup.

Simply click on the WMI.exe file and the script will do the rest. You may need to reboot after running this application to load the Winmgmt service.
